Split/Second is a videogame that very consciously recreates the feeling of Michal Bay action film. Not only are you racing against your opponents, you also control the explosions and other hazards around the track. It feels amazing. Including the music, sound effects, camerawork etc.
This game is 15 years old (very dated on consoles) and I am not aware of anyone else doing something similar. And yes, I've played all Need for Speeds and Burnouts.
