I am very conflicted about contabo.com hosting. I know no one else who is offering similar kind of services for such a low price.
But their support is dogshit, once a year your servers are offline for a few hours without explanation, and last week my whole /dev/sda suddenly got erased (no partitions or filesystem, just 400 GB of zeroes) and I had to reinstall everything over VNC while the support was telling me to try restarting the server...
I guess you get what you pay for.

When the opensubtitles API shuts down in January, the VLSub extension in VLC player probably stops working completely. What are the alternatives to automatically download (English) subtitles in Linux. Commandline is not a problem.
